Hydrodynamic pipe cleaning

Interventions to the highest safety and quality standards

Hydrodynamic pipe cleaning is performed using the Canal Jet. This is a hydrodynamic washing system that uses a nozzle mounted at the end of the flexible hose to spray high-pressure water into conduits, sewers, and pipes to remove deposits and debris.

The technique is widely used in civil and industrial drainage for unclogging and descaling pipes and sewer lines. Drain cleaning vehicles are all equipped with pumps capable of reaching a pressure between 120 and 250 bar and a maximum water flow rate of 400 liters per minute. The nozzle is able to advance inside the pipeline, dragging the connecting and supply hose behind it thanks to the traction force exerted by the water. The same jet of pressurized water simultaneously removes blockages and encrustations and breaks down blockages with great efficiency and speed. There are multiple types of nozzles, both standard and special, which are used depending on the type of hydrodynamic cleaning being performed. The Canal Jet can be used for both emergency sewer cleaning and routine maintenance. The end result is a thorough cleaning of the wastewater system and the removal of residues. The resulting material, fragmented and dragged out by the water flow, is promptly sucked into the tank of the sewer cleaning vehicle and sent for disposal.
